Big Ideas
The concept was to have a single body that could fit a wide array of decorative shells that would resonate with the wood and amplify the sound. Starting with precise measurements of parts, I designed the body in mind for versatility and ease of assembly. The blueprint to scale was created in Adobe Illustrator and formed in 3D with Rhino.
Prototyping
The prototype was milled out on a CNC . First a foam test body and then a wood copy. The metal plate was plasma cut, textured, and forge straightened.
Specs
The body is fitted with RL194 RED Active Humbuckers for the neck and bridge pickups. Fitted with a Black Vintage ABR-1 Tuneomatic Style Bridge and a XGP SOLID BRASS CURVED Black Locking Tailpiece.
